E-Invoicing Mandate Timeline

Pick your country to see exactly when e-invoicing becomes mandatory for you — receiving, issuing, and the EU-wide ViDA milestones that apply everywhere.

Turnover and business type only matter for a few countries (Germany, France, Spain) — leave them blank to see every possible date.

EU-wide milestones (apply regardless of country)

  1. 14 Apr 2025

ViDA (Directive (EU) 2025/516) enters into force — member states can now mandate domestic B2B e-invoicing without a derogation.

  2. 1 Jul 2030

ViDA Digital Reporting Requirements (DRR): EN 16931 e-invoicing, 10-day issuance, and near-real-time reporting become mandatory for cross-border intra-EU B2B transactions.

  3. 1 Jan 2035

National systems predating 2024 (Italy SdI, Poland KSeF, Hungary RTIR, Spain SII) must align with the EU DRR model.

This is a general guide, not tax or legal advice — mandate dates and thresholds can change with local legislation. Confirm with your tax adviser or national authority before relying on a specific date.

Why this exists

One place to see every date that matters

Mandate dates are scattered across national gazettes and EU directives — we track them so you don't have to.
